Fire destroys car at EPB parking garage in downtown Chattanooga

Chattanooga firefighters were called to the EPB parking garage on M.L. King Boulevard early Tuesday morning where they put out a car fire.

According to Capt. Rick Boatwright, the car was on the sixth floor and was engulfed in flames.

Officials said it took five minutes to get the blaze under control and that no damage was done to the building.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is unknown.
