Bradley County man shot in neck in possible domestic dispute

A Bradley County, Tenn., man has been hospitalized after being shot in the neck Friday afternoon, authorities said.

Medical personnel responded to a 9-1-1 call in the 1100 block of Keith Valley Road at about 3 p.m. Friday stating Johnny Penn, 66, had been shot in the neck, Bradley County Sheriff's Office spokesman Bob Gault said.

When they arrived on the scene, Penn was found at his home with the gunshot wound, Gault said. He was transported to Erlanger hospital and is still undergoing treatment.

At this time, the investigation points to a domestic situation, Gault said. The situation is still under investigation.
