The Delta Queen riverboat may be leaving Coolidge Park for warmer waters down in New Smyrna Beach, Fla.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal reported a Florida hotelier signed a letter of intent with a 30- to 45-day window to bring the historic riverboat hotel to New Smyrna Beach.
Representatives for the Delta Queen were not immediately available for comment today.
The 285-foot-long riverboat has operated a restaurant and hotel in Chattanooga for the past three years. The Delta Queen is docked near Coolidge Park on the North Shore of the Tennessee River.
