An actor stands guard while Jesus, portrayed by Gabriel Megia, is beaten and whipped during the 14 Stations of the Cross, a reenactment of the crucifixion of Jesus on Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dalton, Ga. It was estimated that nearly 3,000 attended this year's event.
