Two Jackson County, Ala., men arrested on meth charges

Two Alabama men have been arrested and charged with making meth, authorities say.

Jessie Alan Thomas, 23, of Henagar, and Jonathan Michael Thomas, 25, Stevenson were both charged with first-degree manufacturing methamphetamine, second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a news release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

Both were placed in the Jackson County Jail on $11,000 bond, the release said.

During a search Tuesday of a home on East Main Street in Stevenson, authorities found two one-pot methamphetamine laboratories, a quantity of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and about $8,400 cash.
