Hamilton County commissioners voted this morning to buy property adjacent to the current Ganns Middle Valley Elementary School.
Commissioner Tim Boyd was the only commissioner who voted against the purchase, saying he couldn't support another transaction the school board isn't aware of in light of the commission's recent request for information about the East Brainerd Elementary School site.
School Superintendent Rick Smith said board members haven't been informed about the latest deal.
