HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- The Chattanooga Lookouts pulled out a 6-5 Southern League baseball win Monday night against the Huntsville Stars.

Chattanooga had a 5-0 lead by the middle of the third inning -- thanks to first-inning extra-base hits by Rafael Ynoa, Blake Smith and J.T. Wise and a Nick Buss double, a Smith walk and Wise's home run to left field in the third -- but needed a ninth-inning C.J. Retherford homer to left off former Ringgold High School star Kyle Heckathorn to break a tie in the ninth. Heckathorn allowed only two hits in two innings. Lee Haydel was 4-for-4 with an RBI double for the Stars.

Game three of the five-game series is tonight at 7:43 EDT. Allen Webster (4-8, 3.90 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts.
