Victims identified in North Lee highway crash

The victims of a crash that killed two people on North Lee Highway have been identified.

Everett Catlett, 26, of McMinn County, and Shawn Brown, 7, of Cleveland, were killed when the 1998 Ford Explorer they were in crossed over the left side of the road and struck several trees, according to Bradley County Sheriff spokesperson Bob Gault.

The driver, Denny Catlett, and two other passengers were injured and treated at Skyridge Medical Center, Gault said.

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash, which was reported just before 3 p.m. Wednesday. At this time intoxication is not suspected.
