A mangled car is loaded for transport Sunday on Interstate 75 in McMinn County. The Tennessee Department of Safety said the driver, Christina McPeek-Pilkey, 32, of Decatur, Tenn., was injured in the one-car crash.

A single vehicle accident resulted in injuries and backed up traffic on Interstate 75 northbound in McMinn County at about 1:50 p.m. Sunday, a Tennessee Department of Safety official confirmed.

Christina McPeek-Pilkey, 32, of Decatur, Tenn., was injured when her car struck the guardrail. She was transported to Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, Tenn., according to Dayla Qualls, spokeswoman for the Tennessee Department of Safety.

There were no fatalities.
