Letter from Basil Marceaux

Basil Marceaux became the third resident to attempt to intervene in the lawsuit against Hamilton County over prayers held during commission meetings.

Marceaux, a perennial local political candidate, said he is a "force recon Marince [sic]" and cited others' Internet comments about the prayer issue. He says the country was founded on Christian faith.

Judge Harry S. "Sandy" Mattice denied previous motions to intervene filed by June Griffin and Charles Wysong.

Robin Flores, the attorney for plaintiffs Tommy Coleman and Brandon Jones, already filed his opposition to the motion.
