The Fundraiser

about Clay Bennett...

The son of a career army officer, Bennett led a nomadic life, attending ten different schools before graduating in 1980 from the University of North Alabama with degrees in Art and History. After brief stints as a staff artist at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Fayetteville (NC) Times, he went on to serve as the editorial cartoonist for the St. Petersburg Times (1981-1994) and The Christian Science Monitor (1997-2007), before joining the staff of the ...

Why does attending a Mitt Romney fundraiser feel like buying stock in Facebook? Lets make five very valid comparisons;

1.) Facebook treats young people as the most important people in our society.

Mitt Romney treats corporations as the most important people in our society.

2.) Facebook has insisted they will never charge people to use their site.

Mitt Romney has insisted that he will never charge rich people more in taxes.

3.) Social Media is NOT a Business.

Mitt Romney said that corporations ARE people.

4.) Facebook has been plagued by complaints over disclosure. Facebook and the underwriters have been accused of not widely communicating changes made in analyst revenue forecasts.

Mitt Romney has been plagued by complaints over disclosure. He has been accused of not widely communicating where much of his forecasted revenue exists.

5.) It's been said that the Facebook IPO has benefitted insiders and underwriter Mogan Stanley more than shareholders.

It is a fact that Mitt Romney has benefited from donations by Morgan Stanley. The bundled donations by that corporation is currently his third largest campaign contributor.

Easy123 wrote: "Obama's lead in the polls is nearly identical to this time in 2008."

The news gets even better.

A crunching of 36 Presidential election polls taken weekly nationwide, are now projecting a second term win for President Obama. He has steadily been gaining ground for more than two months.

The projected electoral count for the President now stands at 271. Romney currently has a projected 191. 270 is the magic number. As it stands now, Mitt Romney has virtually no chance to win enough electoral votes to assume the Presidency.

6 States are not in the bag for either candidate, but the President leads in all but one of them. If Obama clinches Colorado and New Hampshire, and if Romney were to win in all the other states, which is doubtful as things stand today, Obama would have 283 and Romney would have 254.

If the President wins in all the states he is currently leading in, he could wind up with 332 to Romney's 206.

Colorado - 9 electoral votes - Obama is up by 3%.

Florida - 29 electoral votes - Obama is up by 1.4%.

Iowa - 6 electoral votes - Obama is up by 1.3%.

New Hampshire - 4 electoral votes - Obama is up by 3%.

North Carolina - 15 electoral votes - Romney is up by 1.5%.

Virginia - 13 electoral votes - Obama is up by 1.2%

You are correct Hussein Obama will probably get reelected because of fools who do not understand he and is communist friends like Bill Ayers are out to destroy America as we know it. Hussein Obama keeps telling his sheep he wants to move the country "forward" but he never tells says what he wants to move the country forward to. You are following him blind like the sheep you are. From all I have seen Hussein Obama wants complete government take over of all our lives and to install a ruling class like communist Russia had which will take away the incentive for the citizens to be productive all under the disguise of being fair. Apparently this is what libtard sheep want and it is pathetic as this type of government has proven to never work anywhere. Margaret Thatcher said "Socialism works until you run out of other peoples money". Well, we are at the point where we have run out of other people's money. Hussein Obama, by spending 6 trillion dollars has made it impossible to pay back this debt so the only option is for the country to go bankrupt. If Hussein Obama confiscated all the wealth of the wealthiest 1% of Americans it would not come close to paying off this debt. One of the reason's you liberals voted for Hussein Obama was because he said he would cut the debt in half. Well, he is on track to more than double the debt. Do you not feel stupid? It is obvious you and the rest of your sheep do not realize how this will impact you and all of us. When America defaults on it's debt Inflation will be so high a loaf of bread could cost $20.00. The American dollar will be worth pennies. The unemployment rate will sky rocket, and there will not be any money for the government to rescue your sorry asses. I cannot understand why you liberals do not see this or you do and think it a good thing. It is mind boggling. You liberals were correct condemning President Bush for adding 5 trillion dollars to the debt in 8 years which I agree was stupid but you praise Hussein Obama for adding 6 trillion dollars to the debt in 4 years. I do not understand why you give Hussein Obama a pass for adding over twice the amount of debt than President Bush. How can anyone see this as a good thing? Are you liberals that blind and stupid to not see what Hussein Obama is doing to this country? Wake up for God's sake Hussein Obama and his Marxist Regime is out to destroy America.

Jack: agree

The Puppet Master of the current Obama Administration:

George Soros is a foreign-born billionaire who is the single largest funder of many Anti-American groups:, Democracy Alliance, Media Matters, Health Care for America Now, Center for American Progress, and Campaign for America’s Future, just to name a few. Soros wants to destroy the principles America was founded upon and turn it into a “socialist paradise.”

Soros is a convicted inside trader who supports open borders, gay rights, abortion rights, increased union power and is hostile to the free enterprise system, even though he made billions off of it. He made his money in a very unethical and, many believe, illegal way – international currency speculation and manipulation. Some believe his fortune was made from drug smuggling since his empire is based offshore in the Netherlands Antilles; the CIA describes this location as “a transshipment point for South American drugs bound for the US and Europe; money–laundering center.”

But Soros’s shady background did not dissuade Reid from taking money from him. Since becoming the Senate Minority leader in 2005 and then the Majority leader in 2007, Reid has had operational control of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. While fundraising for the DSCC, Reid took over $220,000 from Soros, the Soros Fund Management, and various Soros family members.

Airing Harry (mad dog-Senate Liar in Chief) Reid’s Dirty Laundry: HE and many others need to go along with Obama!

But lest we get into a classist name-calling fray, let's try to remember that it's not wrong to be wealthy, but it is wrong to use your wealth and power to opress those with less. Not every wealthy person will vote for Mitt Romney just so they can have lower taxes. Many believe that a strong middle class is the key to a strong nation. We all rise and fall together on the same tide.

In order to have a strong middle class, we need better education for all, not just those who can pay for private schools. The most frightening part of the ultra conservative movement in my opinion is their war on education.

An interest opinion:

“A house divided against itself cannot stand.”

Abe Lincoln used those words in 1858 to describe a country that was careening toward civil war. Now we’re a house divided again and another civil war is coming, with the 2012 election as its Gettysburg.

Call it America’s coming civil war between the Makers and the Takers. ……… Lincoln hoped in 1861 that the “angels of our better nature” would pull us back from catastrophe. He was wrong. Let’s hope in 2012 those angels still hover -- and can make a house divided whole once more.

They so do love their posturing attempts at virtue and superiority.

But hey, you want to talk about Solyndra? Solyndra didn't fail due to any mistaken action of their own, but rather due to outside forces from foreign places. Namely China, which subsidized their own solar companies to the point where price competition became impossible for Solyndra.

Seems Harry Reid has something to hide.

I would still like to know why Obama has been dodging press conferences for over seven weeks now. Talk about a wimp. Can't handle the tough questions. (not that he ever gets any except from FOX).

Harry Reid will be exposed. The dirt on the Community Organizer will someday come out. It's all on the MSM for giving this guy a pass. Wait & watch.

RE: Harry Reid.......he may be bluffing or he may be misinformed. But if the Mittens don't have anything to hide, he can show us the tax returns and make Reid look like a fool. Sounds simple enough to the simple me.

tu_cute....sorry but Obama's school records are not currently on the table, or really relevant for that matter. Mittens tax records are putting heat on him and his fellow GOP'ers. The solution is straightforward to get himself off the hot seat--show the tax returns.

tu: Just Saying......

How did O get into Harvard and who's his really Daddy?

Obama got into Harvard Law School with references from Percy Sutton who was connected to Malcolm X who was connected to Chicago through the Nation of Islam. Also helping young Obama was a big-time Nation of Islam member from Texas - a place Obama had never ever been. How did young Obama get these references, who was his connection? I'd guess it had to be someone with very strong Chicago connections. DAVIS, again.

When Obama graduated from Harvard Law he didn't get a prestigious job at some big Boston or New York or Hawaii law firm or clerk with a big-time federal judge. He could have easily done any of those as the first black Harvard Law Review Editor. He chose instead to work for an extremely politically connected law firm in CHICAGO, of all places. A law firm that did work for REZKO and employed his future wife - the daughter of a CHICAGO MACHINE ALDERMAN. In the Chicago Machine, in order to GET IN THE DOOR, you first have to answer a question: "WHO SENT YOU?" You cannot get in unless someone with connections sent you.

The ONLY person who answers ALL of these points and makes ALL of the connections for Barack Obama Junior is FRANK MARSHALL DAVIS.

Only Davis connects all the dots and could have connected Obama to the Ayers and the Jarretts and the Nation of Islam and Kellman and EVERYTHING ELSE.

Frank Marshall Davis didn't do this for everyone - or anyone else. He did it for his first son. The son he expected to fulfill all of HIS DREAMS.

YUP: The REAL FATHER in the title Dreams From My Father is Frank Marshall Davis.

(And I think the REAL AUTHOR of Dreams - Bill Ayers - knows ALL OF THIS. And that the title Ayers chose is an inside joke. I know that Obama was contacted by literary agent Jane Dystel after winning the election to become head of the Harvard Law Review. I know he failed for years to produce a decent manuscript. I think those who argue Ayers is the real author are correct).

tu_cute....this Obama smokescreen may play with the gullible, but the average intelligent person out there will ask themselves what's Mittnens hiding? Did he pay a fair share taxes on the millions like they did on wages while trying to feed and clothe their family?

Now, I can see why one would NOT vote for Mittens.

But WHY would one vote OBAMA for a 2nd term?

Besides the Socialist comrades' rationale, what are the substantive reasons why Obama should be President AGAIN, sans he's "better" than the opposition?

Read Tu_'s 6:45 post. The truth is out three, but don't count on the Fourth Estate to dig it out.

Yeah, Jack_Boot is waiting on the Fourth Reich to dig out the final solution.
This tax thing ain't going away, folks. Maybe he filed joint with more than one of his wives. The Mormon the merrier. Why would his wife have 2 Cadillacs? She doesn't! Two wives have one each! Where were they purchased? You guessed it... the Frank Marshall Davis dealership in... Chicago!
