3 shootings on Fourth Avenue in Chattanooga since Saturday

Two shooting incidents have occurred within three days on the same stretch of Fourth Avenue in Chattanooga.

Early Monday morning, police were investigating the shooting of James Ballard, 24, who was standing in the 2400 block of Fourth Avenue when he was grazed by a bullet just after midnight. The gunman fled the scene, police

On Saturday, at the same location, two 16-year-olds were shot as they were standing on the sidewalk a little after midnight.

The location is near East Lake Courts housing developments.

All shooting victims received non-life threatening injuries.

To date this year, Chattanooga has had 55 shooting incidents resulting in death or injury.
