A man wanted on sexual predator charges in Florida was apprehended in Alabama over the weekend.

Armando Molina, 25, from Deltona, Fla., was picked up Saturday in a house on County Road 391 in Geraldine, according to a news release from the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office. He was wanted on a Florida warrant of lewd or lascivious battery on a child over 12 years of age but under 16, the release said.

The sheriff's office was contacted Friday by the U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force and told that Molina might be at a Geraldine home. Officers later saw Molina's vehicle at the home and arrested him.

He now is in the DeKalb County Detention Center awaiting extradition to Florida, where his bond is set at $100,000.
