Crossings closed Thursday in Soddy-Daisy area

Four railroad crossings in the Soddy-Daisy area will be closed all day Thursday for maintenance, according to a news release.

The crossings at Thrasher Pike at Frontage Road, at Walden Street, at McAfee Road and at Cox Lane will be closed between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. to allow Norfolk Southern Railway to perform scheduled maintenance, said Janice Atkinson, spokeswoman for the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
