A verified local gang leader sentenced to life in prison for ordering a 2006 murder in public housing returned to court today seeking a reduction in his sentence.

Michael "Mike Mike" Daniels is represented by Amanda Dunn in today's post- conviction hearing before Criminal Court Judge Rebecca Stern.

Daniels and Timothy "Timbo" Evans were found guilty following a 2008 trial in the murder of Adrian Patton at Emma Wheeler Homes. Evans testified he shot Patton after Daniels, head of the "Skyline Bloods" street gang ordered the hit.
