Robbery reported at Regions Bank in downtown Dalton, Ga.

Dalton, Ga., police are responding to a report of a robbery at the Regions Bank branch on Thornton Avenue downtown, department spokesman Bruce Frazier said in a news release.

A suspect in the incident may have fled to the nearby Downtown Motor Inn, Frazier said. No one was injured in the robbery, he said.
