Emergency responders and law enforcement personnel responded to a bomb threat at UTC late this morning, and gave the all-clear to the university about 1 p.m., a UTC official said.

Administrators evacuated Holt Hall, University Center, the Lupton Library, Grote Hall and Brock Hall, said Cindy Carroll, a spokeswoman.

Students are taking fall semester final exams this week.

The bomb threat was called in at 11 a.m.
