A person died in a hit and run accident Friday afternoon in the 4400 block of St. Elmo Avenue, Chattanooga dispatchers said.
A truck collided with a motorcycle around 4:30 p.m., dispatchers said. One person died from injuries sustained in the crash and the other party fled the scene, according to dispatchers.
The name of the victim has not been released.
