A Chattanooga man died this evening trapped under a parked car that he had been working on, police said.
Thilbert Petty, 52, had been working on his 1992 Cadillac as it was parked in front of 1109 Sheridan Ave. The car fell on or rolled over him, Chattanooga police said in a news release. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation continues, police said.
