Another article, Dec 16, 2012 details the abuse for greed inflicted on patients at Life Care nursing homes. If you had a relative or friend in ANY Life Care facility Ask for all the medical records from Life Care. Review them, then make an appointment with a medical malpractice attorney for investigation.
These were not isolated incidents but standard practices demanded from the highest levels of the corporate management.
Those found guilty deserve civil penalties. Those in command deserve criminal penalties and prison time.
What's the difference between a thug who robs a store and hurts the cashier for fifty dollars and the systematic robbery, abuse, and injuries of medical patients for billions of dollars from thugs in suits? None!
If anything, the systematic actions are typical of a criminal enterprise and should meet the standards of RICO. Where's the difference between the Cosa Nostra of Gotti, Capone, and Luciano and the nursing-home mafias?
Excellent article and investigation Todd South. Keep up the good work. Everyone else keep up the pressure on the government to bring justice to the thousands harmed by Life Care and those corporate people who played God for greed with the weakest and most vulnerable.Shame on Life Care.
