Shooting victim found on Searle
Police are investigating a shooting on Searle Street that left a man injured, dispatchers said.
The call came in about 7 p.m. Sunday. Emergency responders found the victim in the 2200 block of Searle Street, though it wasn't known if the shooting occurred at that location.
The man's injuries were not thought to be life-threatening. He was taken to the hospital, dispatchers said.
No other information was available Sunday on the victim's identity or the circumstances of the shooting.
Woman shot at campground
A woman was shot in the chest Sunday night at the KOA Campground on Pleasant Grove Road in Bradley County, according to Bob Gault, Bradley County Sheriff's Office spokesman.
The woman was taken to Erlanger hospital in Chattanooga for her injuries. Her condition was unknown late Sunday night.
Gault said a person was being questioned about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
