A morning fire destroyed a trailer in the 9000 block of Granny Walker Cemetery Road today.

The Mowbray Mountain Volunteer Fire Department responded to the call around 10:30 a.m., according to a news release. The Sequoyah Volunteer Fire Department also assisted.

Within minutes the structure had collapsed. The extent of the damage and the cause of the fire are both unknown at this time.

A neighbor reported that the owner, Donald Harris, may be living at the Soddy-Daisy Nursing Home, which the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was able to confirm.

No injuries were reported.
