CHATTANOOGA — Amy Andrews' neighbors stepped up when a man ambushed her and struck her with a rock as she was getting into her car the morning of November 30.
They stood with her again Tuesday, in Hamilton County Sessions Court; one ready to testify that she heard Andrews' screams and called 911. Another, prepared to explain why he gave chase until the suspect dropped Andrews' purse.
All will have to wait until the case goes to a grand jury. Alfonzo Rounsaville has waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of aggravated robbery.
