Volkswagen of America Inc. will advertise during the Super Bowl for a fourth consecutive year in 2013, but there's no word on the spot's content.
"After a record-setting 2012, Volkswagen looks to the big game as an opportunity to sustain momentum in the year ahead," said Tim Mahoney, the company's chief product and marketing officer.
Two previous spots, "The Force" and "The Dog Strikes Back," which featured the 2012 Passat and 2012 Beetle, respectively, received big viewer numbers, according to VW. "The Force" was voted the No. 1 ad of 2011 by Adweek and garnered more than 55 million views online.
