Man identified in fatal Gwinnett County accident

NORCROSS, Ga. — Police in Gwinnett County have identified a man who died in a car accident on Christmas Day.

Access North Georgia reports 23-year-old Nenad Lunic lost control of his 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe on Simpson Circle near Centennial Trail in Norcross.

Authorities say the car slid off the side of the road and hit a landscaping wall before striking a tree and coming to a rest.

The accident happened around 4:15 p.m. and police say there were no other passengers in the vehicle.

Authorities say speed was likely a factor in the accident and Lunic appeared to have been driving too fast for conditions.
