A few snow flurries are falling in the Chattanooga area this afternoon and some spots could see a light dusting, Channel 3 Eyewitness News meteorologist Paul Barys said.
While the flurries could make mountain roads and overpasses slippery tonight, the snow will melt by Thursday afternoon, he added.
“There might be an accumulation in the higher elevations, but tomorrow it will all be gone,” he said. “There could be a little bit of dusting on parked cars or rooftops, but roads should be OK.”
