Dalton apartments fire declared under control

DALTON, Ga. — Dalton firefighters fighting a fire this afternoon in a building at the Underwood Lodge Apartments now have the blaze under control, according to spokesman Bruce Frazier. He said firefighters are still on the scene taking of "hot spots."

There are four apartments in the building, but all the residents got out and no one was injured, Frazier said.

The apartments are at 1304 Underwood St.
