Heavy rain expected tonight in Chattanooga area

A new front will bring some periods of heavy rain overnight into Thursday morning.

It will be a very wet commute to work and school Thursday. The rain will taper off to sporadic light drizzles Thursday afternoon, then we will clear out with another warm and great day (highs near 60) on Friday.

The weekend will bring great weather for the first part of Saturday. It will be a bit cooler (low 32, high 55), and we will see another round of showers moving in late in the day Saturday.
