Three Jackson County, Ala., men arrested on theft charges

Three Alabama men have been arrested on charges of stealing from a Jackson County home in the Nat Mountain community.

Eric Seabold, 39, and Larry McBride, 37, both of Woodville, Ala., were arrested Feb. 8 in connection with the theft of a large capacity tank worth $1,200, authorities said.

Both were charged with second-degree receiving stolen property, said Jackson County Sheriff Chuck Phillips in a news release.

Five days later, investigators arrested 45-year-old Ricky Cody, of New Hope, Ala., in connection with stealing five car doors and a car hood worth $770 from the same property, Phillips said.

Cody was charged with second-degree theft of property, the sheriff said.

All three men were taken to Jackson County Jail and later released on bond.
