A 35-year-old Polk County man has charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of a man who was found bludgeoned to death in a garage.
Chad Warner has been charged in connection with the death of David Garner, 42, who was found dead on Feb. 4 in his home on Highway 123, according to a release from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Garner was found lying in a pool of blood with a head injury, authorities have said.
Warner, who currently is in Polk County Jail, confessed to the crime when questioned by investigators, the release said.
