ALTAMONT, TN - Two children were killed while riding their go-kart on Saturday afternoon and the accident has an entire community grieving for the children's family.
It happened in the Altamont community in Grundy County when the four and 11 year old boys drove their go-kart out of their yard and into oncoming traffic.
"My wife called me. She was crying, screaming to tell me what happened. She said they got ran over and I thought it was my kids and I couldn't imagine what the family is going through right now," family friend Randy McGee said.
