Chattanoogans can expect to see double-decker buses cruising down Interstate 75 by the end of the month.
Megabus.com, a point-to-point busing service offering a few $1 fares for those booking tickets far enough in advance, said it will begin using higher-capacity double-decker buses in its Atlanta routes.
When the service started operating in mid-November, Chief Operating Officer Dale Moser said double-decker buses would be brought in if the service was popular enough.
"We are delighted with the high volume of ridership and demand," he said in a news release.
Megabus offers direct bus service for Chattanooga, Knoxville, Atlanta and Nashville.
