B.J. Coleman got some good news late last week when the former McCallie and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga quarterback received his invitation to the NFL combine.
Coleman, who is training in Hattiesburg, Miss., said he found the invitation in his UTC e-mail inbox on Friday.
“That was an awesome feeling,” Coleman said.
This will be the second year in a row that UTC had a player at the combine. Cornerback Buster Skrine turned heads by being one of the fastest players at the combine and was drafted in the fifth round by the Cleveland Browns.
