Player of the Week Honor Roll

Coaches, please submit nominations for player of the week to Gene Henley at ghenley@timesfreepress.com by noon on Sunday.

Arts & Sciences: Briana Wesley averaged 28.5 points as the Lady Patriots went 1-1 on the week.

Baylor: Amber Howard averaged 17.5 points per game as the Lady Red Raiders went 3-1 in the National Guard Armory Classic in Owensboro, Ky.

Bradley Central: The Bears went 3-1 in the Nike Tournament at Maryville. Junior guard Bryce Copeland averaged 15.8 points, Miles Morgan 13.0 and Hunter Chastain 12.5.

Brainerd: Demetrius Kitchens averaged 15.3 points, and Jabari Evans 14.8 as the Panthers went 2-2 in the Nike Tournament in Maryville.

Gordon Lee: Three girls were named to the Towns County (Ga.) Battle of the States all-tournament team. Lil Bradbury averaged 17 points per game and was named most valuable player; Katelyn Lee averaged 17 points and nine rebounds per game; and Kassidy Blevins averaged 11 points and 7.3 assists per contest.

Ooltewah: Jervon Johnson averaged 25 points in three game as the Owls won the Bay High Classic in Panama City, Fla.

Rhea County: Josh Coleman averaged 13.8 points, Jalen Smith 12.0 and Nick McWherter 10.8 as the Golden Eagles went 2-2 in the Nike Tournament in Maryville.

Sequatchie County: Daniel Cartwright averaged 21 points per game for the boys, while sophomore post Keely Frederick averaged 15 points and eight rebounds in three games for the Lady Indians as both teams participated in the South Pittsburg Christmas Classic.

Tellico Plains: Sarah McKinnon averaged 23.7 points and 17 rebounds as the Lady Bears went 2-1 in the Lenoir City Christmas Tournament.
