Summerville man charged with burning his sister’s trailer

Chad Tidmore was charged with arson on Thursday and is still being held in Chattooga County Jail, said Detective Kandy Dodd.

Back in August, authorities called the state’s fire marshal to investigate what was considered a suspicious fire, Dodd said. After five months, Tidmore was arrested.

Tidmore is being held on a $35,000 bond.
