CHARLESTON, S.C. — The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women’s basketball team held the College of Charleston to 15 second-half points today in a 58-44 win at TD Arena.
Whitney Hood scored 16 points to lead the Lady Mocs (9-4, 4-0 Southern Conference), who also got nine points and 10 rebounds from Taylor Hall.
Latisha Harris was the star of the opening half for the Cougars (2-12, 1-4) with 15 points and seven rebounds, but UTC held her to just four points in the final 20 minutes.
The Lady Mocs led 35-34 with 16:16 remaining in the game. After that the Cougars didn’t score for more than six minutes and UTC closed the game on a 23-10 run.
