A 50-year-old male was shot near East Lake Courts tonight, police said.
Police received a call about the incident by 2200 E. 26th Street Court at 9 p.m., Chattanooga police spokeswoman Jerri Weary said. The victim had an apparent gunshot wounds to his stomach and was taken to a local hospital.
No one has been arrested yet but police believe the shooting was domestic, Weary said.
