Delhaize America will close 13 of its Food Lion stores across the Tennessee Valley.
The company announced late Wednesday night it will close 113 under performing stores across the country and cut 4,900 jobs.
According to Delhaize's website, the closings are due to low revenue and an increase in competitive activity.
