Chattanooga: Bomb threat under investigation

Friday, January 13, 2012

Chattanooga police bomb technicians have combed an area business after a bomb threat was called.

The threat was reported shortly before 11 a.m. at Home Serve on Premiere Drive, police spokesman Nathan Hartwig said.

An unknown person had called the Home Serve office located in Miami, Fla. and reported there was a bomb at the Chattanooga office. That then called the Chattanooga office about the threat, Hartwig said.

The complete building was searched by bomb technicians and K-9 and no bomb was located. The case is still pending investigation, said Hartwig.
