Two brothers have been arrested after a tractor-trailer loaded with La-Z-Boy furniture was stolen and crashed in Soddy Daisy.

James Tabor and John Tabor Jr were arrested by the Tennessee Highway Patrol Criminal Investigations Division.

The brothers allegedly stole the truck from a Chattanooga trucking company where James Tabor was employed and the trailer loaded with furniture from Dayton.

They crashed the vehicle in Soddy Daisy on Old Dayton Pike on January 15, police said, and fled the scene.

THP CID Investigators, Chattanooga Police Auto Theft Division Detectives, and Soddy Daisy Police Officers followed leads on the theft and arrested the brothers on January 20.

The brothers are charged with Theft over $60,000 and Criminal Conspiracy, both felonies. Their first court date is January 30, 2012 in Hamilton County.
