A man is wanted for exposing himself to a female shopper in the shoe department of the Dalton Walmart, police said.

On Thursday around 5:40 p.m., a shopper complained that a man got her attention and then exposed himself, but she was too shocked to react, said Dalton Police spokesman Bruce Frazier in a news release.

The suspect then walked away and met up with the female that he had walked into the store with and the pair left without making a purchase, Frazier said.

A surveillance video captured a picture of the suspect entering the store, Frazier said. He is described as a white male with dark hair and a possible goatee.

Anyone who knows the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Detective John Helton at 706-278-9085, extension 143.
