Harris III bringing illusions to U-Church

Friday, January 1, 1904

Illusionist Harris III (Harris the third) will be the first guest as Lee University begins its spring series of U-Church services Sunday.

Harris III's performance will start at 7:30 p.m. in the Conn Center, 150 11th St., on the Cleveland, Tenn., campus.

Though designed as an opportunity for students to worship together in an atypical chapel format, U-Church also is open to school alumni and friends from the community.

Since receiving a magic set from his grandmother at age 9, Harris III has been fascinated with magic, illusion and how easily the senses are deceived. His first public performance was at age 11. Today, at 28, he is a classically trained and award-winning master illusionist, as well as an expert in the art of deception.

Harris has performed before 1 million people on five continents. His performances not only amaze his audiences but also awaken them to the lure of deception, the power of the senses and the secret of living life based on deeper realities.
