In her first career start, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga guard Meghan Downes has 12 points at the half tonight against Elon at McKenzie Arena.
Lady Mocs forward Faith Dupree played 13 minutes off the bench and also has 12 points as UTC jumped on the Phoenix early and leads 43-26 at the half.

Downes started in place of Kayla Christopher, who is in warmups on the bench due to illness.
The Lady Mocs have a 26-10 advantage in points in the paint and a 19-2 advantage in points off turnovers. UTC already has eight steals.
