Chattanooga granted 232 building permits with a collective value of $22.6 million during June. The biggest new construction projects begun in the city last month included:
1 Hotel renovation of the Clarion Inn and Suites at 2345 Shallowford Road by EMJ Corp., $3.5 million
2 Interior building alteration at 100 W. Main St., owned by Eric Cummings, by T.U. Parks Construction Co., $1.7 million
3 Greenlife Grocery store addition and renovation at 301 Manufacturers Road by Young Construction, S.E., $1.2 million
4 Medical park office at 2108 E. Third St., being built by P&C Construction Inc., $750,816
5 Dentist office addition and renovation at 4703 Briarwood Drive, by The Strauss Co. Inc., $689,500.
