The EPB has reported that 13,500 of its customers are without power this morning after storms in the area last night downed trees and knocked out power.
EPB said as many as 30,000 of its customers were without power at one time.
EPB said added crews are arriving today to assist in the power restoration effort that has been taking place.
The EPB said it estimates it will be Sunday or Monday before power is fully restored in the 600-square-mile service area.
It also warned area residents to be careful about downed power lines.
