University of Tennessee at Chattanooga senior right tackle Adam Miller, a former Northwest Whitfield standout and a three-year starter, sat down with the Times Free Press to answer 10 questions. Here are the seven most illuminating responses:

1. What's the most memorable moment of your athletic career?

"My senior year in high school, I actually had an interception. As an offensive lineman I don't even touch the ball, but playing on the defensive line, that was one thing that I got excited about. The defensive coordinator took me out to eat for doing that."

2. What is your favorite sports movie?

"It's either 'Remember the Titans' or 'Friday Night Lights.' Those are two very good movies that are kind of toss-ups to me. It kind of depends on what kind of mood I'm in at the time."

3. If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

"I'm definitely a steak-and-baked-potato guy. Give me a good steak and a baked potato and I'll be one of the happiest guys you can see."

4. What part of playing college football has been the biggest surprise?

"The first thing that was a big surprise was the speed. You get told about it, but you don't really know until you actually step out there. Another thing is just how much time it takes. People don't realize: They think you just go out there and practice, then go play on Saturday. There's so much time spent on off-the-field stuff. And you've always got to make sure you represent yourself and your school well."

5. What music, if any, do you listen to before a game?

"Before a game I'm more of a rock guy. Anything upbeat, for sure. The last thing slow I'll listen to is when we get on the bus, and by the time we do the Moc Walk [at Finley Stadium], I've got to turn that off and get ready by listening to newer rock music, not the old stuff."

6. If you could be anyone for a day, who would you be?

"I'd have to say Tim Tebow. Not only is he a great athlete, but he is very vocal about his faith. That takes a lot of courage at the level he's at, so I look up to him for that. I understand that he is very committed to being a Christian, and I like that."

7. If you had to be stranded on a deserted island with two teammates, who would they be and why?

"One of them would be Synjen Herren. I've known Synjen since we were in high school, and not only do we act the same, but he's from a little more out in the boonies than I am, so I know he'd know what he was doing. Another one would be Don Cope. If you're on an island you're going to have fish around you, and he does a lot of fishing. I know that he can help me survive, too."
