Two Hamilton County residents were removed from Thursday morning's Hamilton County Commission meeting by a sheriff's deputy.

Chairman Larry Henry ordered the removal of Aaron Moyer, who was speaking in the final minutes of the 10-minute public comment period. A deputy also removed Tommy Coleman, who is one of the plaintiffs in a federal lawsuit against them over invocations in public meetings. Coleman was seated at the time.

Henry asked Moyer to cut short his statements. Instead Moyer raised his voice and continued reading.

At that point Henry ordered security to remove Moyer from the podium.

The deputy approached Moyer and signaled to Coleman, who was silently seated, that he must also leave. Both were escorted to the door.
