Georgia will not have all 19 of its football signees available for preseason camp.
Leonard Floyd, rated by Rivals.com as the nation's No. 13 weakside defensive end and among the top 200 prospects overall, has failed to qualify academically and likely is headed to a prep school. The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder from Eastman, Ga., may not be alone.
Bulldogs defensive tackle signee John Atkins of Thomson, Ga., has yet to pass through the NCAA Clearinghouse and could wind up at a prep school as well. The 6-4, 300-pounder took the ACT again earlier this summer.
Georgia's other 17 signees are on campus, with quarterback Faton Bauta and tailback Keith Marshall having been enrolled since January.
