Chattanooga residents get to live their own version of the MTV hit show "Jersey Shore" on Wednesday when Mellow Mushroom Waterside, 2318 Lifestyle Way near Hamilton Place, hosts the inaugural Jersey Shore fundraising party at 10 p.m.

The free event is a benefit for a Mellow Mushroom employee diagnosed with cancer.

Guests at "Beat The Beat Up Party" can fist pump and dance to beats from DJ Guilty Pleasures. Drink specials offered will include $2 Jell-O shots, $3 cocktails and $3 Brooklyn Pilsners.

There will be a costume contest for the freshest-looking Pauly D and Snooki. Winners will receive a "GTL Prize Pack" (gym, tan, laundry) which includes a free month of CrossFit Training at Get Built Gym, half-off the cost of blowouts and custom airbrush tanning from Salon Haven, a gift card to Kleen-A-Matic dry cleaners, and a gift card to the Mellow Mushroom.
