Hamilton County PTA is sponsoring the Tennessee PTA Summer Leadership Training on Wednesday at Hixson Middle School, 5681 Old Hixson Pike, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Anyone interested in increasing parental involvement in their school is welcome.
The fee per person is $5 PTA member and $10 all others. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Workshop topics will include PTA Basics, ABCs for Treasurers, Common Core State Standards, National PTA Reflections Arts Program and Advocating 365 Days a Year.
